Roo Peake
Originally, a Youth & Community Worker, managing statutory youth services in the north of Leicestershire, Roo redirected her focus to work in Adult Social Care as her own health deteriorated. As Officer for Leicestershire County Council’s Shared Lives Service, she matched and monitored the quality of the Shared Lives Service, in which differently abled or older adults move into their carers home rather than living in supported or residential care environments. Roo is regularly seen on matchdays at Leicester City Football Club or at gigs at the Leicester Comedy Festival.
John O'Driscoll
John is a social worker who spent most of his professional life in Newcastle. He is a qualified professional in counselling, mediation and has a wealth of experience in risk management and safeguarding. He has managed both social work services and community projects including reducing youth homelessness in Tyne & Wear. In his spare time, John mentors university students with mental health and learning difficulties to achieve their aspirations if he's not travelling around the UK and Ireland in his campervan with his dog, Kesha.
